“Dear Karma, I have a list of people you missed,” Hermione muttered as she walked through the front door.
“Bad day at work?” Harry called from the kitchen.
“Sod off, Potter! What are you doing, anyway?”
“Attempting to cook supper… It’s not going too badly, but I’d be careful of the bread pudding, I think it got burnt on bottom.”
“How the hell do you burn bread pudding?”
“Apparently it’s not that difficult, especially if you let the stew start to run over and then have to attempt to save it.”
“Oh, so now your saving people thing extends to supper as well?”
“Ha ha, very funny, Hermione. Just get cleaned up, supper, such as it is, is almost ready.”
“Can’t wait,” Hermione teased, then headed back toward the stairs, calling over her shoulder, “Don’t forget to Floo Ron at work, he was still there when I left and he’ll miss your amazing supper if you don’t call him!”
“Sod off, Granger!” Harry yelled after her, but grinned and walked over to the fireplace, throwing some green powder in and calling, “Ron Weasley’s office, Ministry of Magic!”
