#AtoZChallenge Day 6: F

F

“F is for Fanny, sucked dry by a leech.”  One wonders where Fanny found a leech strong enough to do such a thing.  It would have to be a leech the size of Chicago, since normally it would take several leeches to have a deadly effect on a person.  Even engorged a leech usually doesn’t grow to a very great size, and it would take a single one a very long time to completely exsanguinate someone (or even an animal, depending on the animal’s size), compared to the time it would take several of them to do the same.  A single leech capable of such a feat would give the Cockroach That Ate Cincinnati a run for his money, and it’s possible that only Godzilla would be able to stop it…or at least one of the T-Rexes from Jurassic World.
