This is one of the most laid-back reading challenges I’ve seen yet. You don’t have to officially sign up to participate, just let them know whenever you read a food-related book (cookbook, cozy mystery, memoir of a chef, waiter or other foodie…).
If you want to challenge yourself, however, you can pick one of the following levels to go for:
Short-Order Cook: 1-3 books; Pastry Chef: 4-8 books; Sous-Chef: 9-13 books; Chef de Cuisine: 14-18 books; Cordon-Bleu Chef: More than 19 books.
Don’t like to plan that far ahead? That’s fine, you can pick the a la carte method, where you just check in with them whenever you read a food-related book.
